EUROCRAFT - Aircraft lifting bags

Recovery of Aircraft is an extremely difficult and expensive business. An aircraft that is blocking the runway of even a medium sized airport will cost that airport large amounts of money in lost revenue from diverted planes. Therefore a system that can gently but quickly move the plane and get the runway back into operation must be advantageous to all concerned.

Single element air bags are lightweight and easily positioned by two people under the aircraft in the lift position. Once in place they can be inflated as required by connecting a quick release air supply hose from the remote manifold or control console.

Each pneumatic elevator is fitted with a pressure relief valve to prevent accidental over inflation during periods of stress.

Each element is constructed from specially woven neoprene coated Dropthread fabric to a stringent manufacturing specification to maintain quality and durability in use and a long storage life.
