Rescue Path is a portable, inflatable rescue platform for use over ice, mud, shallows or unstable ground, enabling endangered persons or casualties to be reached in considerably less time than by using traditional methods.
The Rescue Paths can be joined together, using Karabiners and lines for longer reach applications. Typical users will include Fire and Rescue services, Coastguard and Lifeboat, Civil Defence and Civilian Rescue teams.
FEATURES
- Inflates in 60 seconds from a standard BA cylinder
- 5m or 10m long by 1.4m wide
- Compact stowage size of 0.787m x 0.533m x 0.406m
- Transportable by 2 persons at 42kgs (less cylinder and regulator valve)
The Rescue Path is a rescue platform composed of a rolled up inflatable pathway, stowed into a valise, and a compressed air cylinder with medium pressure regulator fitted to the inflation hose. The unit inflates automatically when the cylinder valve is opened.
The Rescue Path is able to support a person within 60 seconds; when fully inflated to a pressure of approximately 7psi (0.5 bar) an automatic relief valve prevents over inflation.
The unit is fabricated from a tough, rot and chemical resistant Neoprene coated Polyester Dropthread fabric. All ropes are Polyester for optimum strength combined with rot resistance and all D-rings and fittings are stainless steel.
The simple construction ensures that, in the rare occurrence of a puncture, the Rescue Path can be repaired with the kit supplied.
