EUROCRAFT - White water canoes & kayaks

Designed to serve the needs of the professional outfitter, raft rental operations and adventure holiday organisers the Eurocraft inflatable canoe range should also appeal to the private user who understands the need to invest in quality.

Reliability is of paramount importance in products of this nature, they are simple and straightforward to assemble, easy to use, tough and forgiving in inexperienced hands with a high safety margin and low maintenance requirements.

RAPID SPRITE: Sit-on-top (K1)

Surf ski/play boat an extended version of the Sprite equipped for two people was entered in the Liffey Descent Race and claims to be the fastest inflatable on the river.

RAPID RESPONSE: Single Seat (K1)

Backpackable open kayak, stable yet rollable and at 16kgs an ideal boat to take on a world tour. One recent trip took in the Shoalhaven (Australia), The Kaituna (7.5m waterfall, New Zealand), Grand Canyon, Snake and Salmon Rivers (USA).

RAPID PARTNER: Single or Double Seat (K1/K2)

Backpackable triple role inflatable open kayak. Can take two paddlers on placid to medium white water or single paddler with plenty of gear on white water expeditions. Chosen for the "Don't try this at home" descent of the upper reaches of the Amazon. With the addition of an air bottle inflation, transfer valves and extra lifting handles it becomes the Rapid Rescue. Available in custom colourways, in black and cream it becomes the Eurocraft Orca as used by white water centres in Wales.

RAPID EXPLORER: Double Seat (C1/C2)

High volume one or two person canoe at home on big water and on steep descents. At 22kgs it is still backpackable into those out-of-the-way places. In common with much of the Eurocraft range it is also a user friendly craft for the disabled.

RAPID EXPEDITION: Double Seat (C2/C3)

This is a stretched version of the Explorer which can comfortably take three people or two with plenty of gear. It was specified by the Scientific Exploration Society as the scout vessel for their 2004 Koto Mama V exploration of the Rio Grande in Bolivia, S. America. For extreme situations it can be fitted with a custom built 220 litre inflatable dry bag (that's a 40 gallon barrel!) which becomes part of the craft.

RAPID TRANSIT: (C2/C3)

Two or three person expedition and surf canoe which also makes an excellent rescue/support craft. It has been fitted with an electric outboard motor with surprising success for use as a sailing school rescue craft.

RAPID DISCOVERY: (C2-R5)

On the border line between a canoe and raft the Rapid Discovery is a very versatile expedition craft which can be paddled by 2, 3, 4 or 5 people. Used commercially on small technical rivers in the USA it was chosen by the British Army for their "Roof of the Americas" expedition to do a source to the sea descent of the Mazaruni River in Guyana, S. America.

All members of the Eurocraft canoe range are stable, manoeuverable, responsive and attractive. Above all they are great fun!
