Eurocraft has designed a range of pipe test stoppers based on Dropthread fabric which gives them a slim profile whilst maintaining sealing pressure against the pipe wall. This reduces not only the weight but also the bulk, advantages that will be appreciated in both use and storage, particularly with the larger sizes.

The Dropthread material is coated with neoprene while the side walls and diaphragm have Hypalon on their working surfaces. Closed cell neoprene sponge is used on the sealing surfaces to cope with irregularities on the inner faces of pipes where the finish may be less than perfect.

Temporary closures for non-circular openings such as manways and access hatches have also been fabricated from Dropthread fabrics.
